The final project in News 485 (news packaging) was a multimedia news package produced by groups of 5-6 students from journalism (all disciplines) and telecommunications (news option). Our group decided to feature the Indiana School for the Deaf, which celebrated Deaf Awareness Month in April. We visited the school, interviewed teachers, students, and Ball State deaf education interns, and researched deaf communication.
